An article in the Irish Times yesterday caught my eye.  It said that Ireland ranked 10th best place in the world to grow up.  As I read into this more, I noted that it was reporting on a survey published by Unicef, the children’s charity.  The research involved 29 countries and found that 86 per cent of children in Ireland were happy with their lives.

I also noted that the data was collected in bygone days, those good old days of the Celtic Tiger.  The who, I hear you say.  Sure no wonder the kids were happy, money brings you happiness.  This led me to further investigate if this was in fact true, if money really did bring you happiness.  Of course there has been research on the subject and the New York times had an article on that very subject only last week.

I am not so sure that money brings you happiness but it sure makes life a lot less stressful.  This of course is true to a certain degree, but it is probably more the case that if your money is managed well you will have less to worry about and less stress in your life.  It is not always about the amount of money you have coming into your household but more about how this money is managed.

The best place to start is to budget for your bills.  BillsManager.com will help you to budget and manage your bills.  Once your budget plan is set up, BillsManager will enable you to maintain your household budget which should only take 10 minutes a month.  BillsManager will automatically adjust your budget as required so you don’t have to remember to amend the amount your if a bill is higher or lower than is stated in your budget plan.

Money may or may not bring you happiness, but BillsManager will as it eases the pressures of money and bill management.  Less stress equals more happiness for all of the family not just the children.
